Mobile Kitchen

To help change the negative stigma toward single families the I.C.White Stone Fd helps moms establish entrepreneurships from their natural abilities to help alleviate issues related to money.

The Nashville Auto Diesel College has designed a mobile kitchen in efforts to help East Nashville single families earn monies needed.

College Tours

Single mother are finding ways to go to college and educate themselves while simultaneously setting examples as to the importance of education for their youth.

The biggest noticeable change is Emotional/Stress Reliever: Get together’s, we attend educational events together, movie night, and a lot of other things. Another East Nashville organization called Mothers Helping Others helps by offering hours of childcare. This helps each mom with feeling isolated and helps each to learn better parenting tips from real moms that experience like situations.

 

Kids > Gems and Gemstones

(Ages: 0-11) Younger youth are taught altruism and the importance of giving back through volunteering. Education and literacy is stressed and youth put together service projects on topics of their interest. This program is a pre-requisite to the Vice Chancellors Youth Council.

Kids > Vice Chancellors Youth Council

(Age: 12-18) Youth from single families take an active role in addressing educational and community issues directly related to them, especially those hindering college entrance and graduation.
